Women’s Empowerment Keynote Speaker
Inspiring Women to Lead with Clarity, Confidence, and Fired Up! Purpose
Women today navigate increasingly demanding roles at work, at home and in their communities. Gallup’s 2025 findings show significant burnout among women, 1/2 feeling daily stress due to childcare demands, parent care demands, poor life-work balance and work overload. Women managers are especially burdened by unclear expectations and unreasonable demands. They lead, support, carry and often absorb the emotional weight of everyone around them.
Snowden McFall, M.A.T., a long-time advocate and supporter of women, helps women break free of limitations, stop playing small, reclaim their power and share their gifts with the world. Her uplifting keynotes and trainings blend inspirational storytelling with the latest research on practical tools women can use every day.
Whether speaking to emerging leaders, seasoned executives or large conference audiences, Snowden brings thirty years of expertise in resilience, communication, stress relief, women’s empowerment and leadership development. Her Fired Up! approach helps women own their power, speak with confidence and step into higher levels of leadership.
Snowden McFall, M.A.T. was named the National Women in Business Advocate of the Year by the SBA and was honored at the White House and U.S. Congress.

Preventing Women From Holding Themselves Back | Snowden McFall on News4Jax
Segment 1: The Habits Holding Women Back
Have you ever apologized before asking a question, hesitated to negotiate your salary, or downplayed your accomplishments because you didn’t want to seem pushy? According to executive coach and professional speaker Snowden McFall, these seemingly small habits can have a big impact on a woman’s career and ultimately her earning potential. It starts right out of the box when women are interviewing for jobs — that’s when you really have to sell yourself, show confidence and capability.
Segment 2: Salary Negotiation
Too many women never negotiate a salary increase. Between 20% and 40% of women never even try to negotiate, and when they do, they ask for 30% less than men. The fear of asking is unfounded — if you can justify a number, it’s worth the conversation. Women also need to ask for more. A friend was deciding between two national jobs and hadn’t considered asking for a signing bonus. When asked why not, the response was simple: every man in that situation would ask for one — and she got it.
Segment 3: The Cost of Not Asking
Not asking for raises can cost a woman up to a million dollars over the course of her career. Women also hold themselves back by not even applying for jobs — if they don’t meet every single requirement listed, they won’t apply. Men will apply if they meet half. Women have got to get used to putting themselves out there.
Segment 4: Women Entrepreneurs & Paying Yourself
As a 30-year entrepreneur, Snowden McFall identifies one of the biggest mistakes women business owners make: not paying themselves. Only 42% of women entrepreneurs pay themselves, and when they do, they pay themselves $17,400 less than men. Women tend to be more risk-averse and prioritize paying their team first — but the advice is clear: pay yourself first.
Segment 5: Communication & Confidence
Communication habits can quietly undermine a woman’s authority. Overusing qualifiers like “I think,” “I feel,” or “I’m not sure but…” signals uncertainty. Similarly, “up-speak” — ending statements with a rising tone as if asking a question — undercuts credibility. The fix: if you know something, say it with authority. If you don’t know, simply say “I don’t know, but I can find out” — stated confidently, not apologetically.
Segment 6: Supporting Each Other
Women are not in competition with each other — the pie is big enough for everybody. Celebrating and promoting each other is essential. Building a personal “hype list” — a written record of every success, skill, and obstacle overcome — gives women a reference point for confidence. Put it on your mirror. When self-doubt creeps in, that list is a reminder of everything you’re capable of.
Segment 7: Action Steps & Closing Advice
The single most important thing women can do: ask. Speak up at every table. Let your voice be heard. Network purposefully. Know your value and own your power — and raise your fees. Whether negotiating a salary or running a business, almost every woman needs to charge more. Being confident is not being boastful — you can be humble and still hype yourself up. It’s time for women to own their worth and ask for what they deserve.
